November 2012 – Mitt Romney’s Mormonism is Anti-Christ

Published November 3, 2012 by Dr. David M. Berman in Articles 2012

Mormonism is in the news more often than it used to be. In fact, Mitt Romney being a Mormon has been a great help to Mormonism’s quest to be accepted as “Christian.” One thing we must be honest about is that the Mormons are very clever in their marketing. Their ads are all over T.V., Radio and the internet including You Tube videos. They portray themselves as your average citizen of every race with wonderful family commercials.  Recently, one of the most respected Preachers in America met with Mitt Romney. After the meeting the preacher had a reference to Mormonism being a cult removed from his web site. Who am I speaking of? Rev. Billy Graham. Of all the people who should know better, Rev. Graham should. When asked about this, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association issued a statement: “We removed the (cult) information from the website because we do not wish to participate in a theological debate about something that has become politicized during this campaign.” I have a question; “If we should not tell the truth about Mormonism when everyone is looking, when should we?”

The fact of the matter is that the “evangelical” movement has looked the other way concerning the demonic doctrines of Mitt Romney’s Mormonism. The so called conservative Christian political forces have become enamored with power and money at the expense of standing for truth. Don’t give me the same old rehashed “lesser of two evils” argument since that argument has proven itself to be an abysmal failure. We have been doing lesser of two evils for 60 years with few acceptations and what has it led to? Are we a Christian nation any longer? Has abortion ceased? Is our economy better? Do we have our Constitutional liberties intact?

Should Christians support a man for president who believes that Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers (Mormon Doctrine, page 163)? Do Christians think it a good idea to vote for a man who believes he will one day be one of many gods (Mormon Doctrine, page 163)?

Although there is no religious test for office, a Christian should consider the world-view of a candidate whether he be a Christian, Atheist, or Muslim etc.  A person’s world-view directly effects how they govern in at least some way. The truth is that Romney is not even a good Mormon since the Mormon’s are clearly against homosexuality, and most Abortion. Romney is responsible for the first same sex “marriages” in America. If a man like Mitt Romney who not only is a Mormon cultist, but also has been a supporter of Abortion with a bill he signed into law providing $50 abortions (after his so called pro-life conversion) can gain support from the Christian “pro-family” movement, something is very wrong. If these groups call themselves Christian, how can they align themselves with a blatant worker of darkness?

2 Corinthians 6:14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

I am not saying that Christians can’t vote for anyone who is not a Christian. We can but in God’s Word there is a distinction made in the following that helps us to see a principle:

Galatians 1:8 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

In this passage we see specifically that there is an inferred distinction between those who purposely preach “another gospel” which means a false or counterfeit gospel, and those who do not purposely but are rather just unsaved and lost. Mormonism fits the description of being “accursed” since it is directly preaching another gospel which in truth is not a gospel at all but rather deception. Mitt Romney is a Mormon. He was a Mormon leader who proclaimed another gospel and according to the bible he is “accursed.” Do we Christians really believe that we and the “Christian pro-family” groups should actively support and vote for a person that the bible declares is “accursed”? Lest you call me judgmental, I remind you that Romney is very clear about being a Mormon, clear about being a Mormon leader, and the bible is clear in its description of a false gospel. I make no personal judgment. I simply accept the judgment that God’s Word has made.

Mormonism is so off the wall spiritually that it is blasphemous. Here are just some of the demonic teachings of Mormonism:

1)    God the Father is in the form of a man, Joseph Smith, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, page 3.

2)    God is married to his goddess wife and has spirit babies, Mormon Doctrine p. 516.

3)    The book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible, History of the Church, 4:461.

4)    God had sexual relations with Mary to make the body of Jesus, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 4, p. 218, 1857

5)    There is no salvation without accepting Joseph Smith as a prophet of God, Doctrines of Salvation, Vol. 1, p. 188.

6)    God the Father had a Father (Orson Pratt in The Seer, page 132; One of the purposes of the Seer was “to elucidate” Mormon Doctrine, The Seer, page 1, 1854.

7)    The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s, Doctrine and Covenants 130:22; Compare with Alma 18:26-27; 22:9-10.

8)    There is a mother god, Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 443.

I could go on but you should get my point by now. Mormonism is not Christian. It is demonic, cultic gross heresy and that should not be overlooked. When Christian pro-family groups overlook Romney’s cultism, and anti-liberty record with a “Republican good Democrat bad” mind-set, they are not being biblical. Even if their argument is that Romney will at least be pro-life, they are wrong even with that since even Romney has said he will not have a pro-life agenda when he expressed to the Des Moines Register ““There’s no legislation with regards to abortion that I’m familiar with that would become part of my agenda.”

Romney is a flip flop, get elected no matter what the cost, say anything cultist and the “Christian pro-family movement” actively supports him? The question is this; “Should a Born Again Christian vote for a man who is a cult leader heretic, who by his own words will do nothing to stop the murder of babies, is responsible for same sex marriage in Massachusetts, and who has a record of raising taxes and instituting the first socialist medicine in America? The answer: NO!

If Christian people do not stop whoring out their vote to the pimps of big government, promoters of death, and stealers of liberty, America will cease to be America in any way but name only. Christians must join together under the biblical principles of liberty and vote true pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, pro-Constitution. We have been given a choice in the two major political parties;

Democrat – A communist, big government, tyrannical, Muslim sympathizer, pro-child murder, pro-homosexual enemy of liberty man named Barack Obama.

Republican – A man who says he is pro-life then signed a bill for $50 abortions, pro-homosexual, big government satanic cult leader.

You want me to choose from that? You go ahead and do what seems right to you but as for me, I will not whore my vote out to an un-American Democrat communist, or a Republican Party that says what we want to hear and the stabs us in the back!

I am voting for Tom Hoefling for president. Find him at
